Does anyone have any exercises, on the horse or off, to build leg strength? I used to lift through High School and college when there was a wonderful free gym. Since I'm saving up for a dressage saddle, the gym is one of many things that have been cut from my budget.
I have some bad knees, but the stronger the surrounding muscles, the less issues I have. What exercises do you all use to strengthen your legs?
I don't have access to anything more than 15lb free weights at this time, and resistance bands. Running is out for me due to back/knee issues. LOL I'm 27 and practically falling apart.
