6 months later I was slowly losing use of my right hand. It felt tired and sore. I saw the surgeon who had done my carpal tunnel surgery thinking it might have been from that. He sent me for an anthrogram and it came back showing all the little ligaments in my carpal joint were torn. He referred me to an orthopedic and now i'm on a waiting list.
However since the anthrogram its gotten worse to the point I have a hard time holding a pen. I have a splint that has stabilizers on top and bottom and go to my knuckles. But its not helping. My hand is always cold, i'm losing range of motion and my ring and pinky finger down into my wrist are pins and needles. It feels like something is scratching my hand non stop and tingles and just freaking hurts like heck.
The waiting list for the orthopedic is long. I am on a cancellation list but I am still facing months before getting in. I really don't know what to do. I have a desk job where I am typing all day and writing but its getting harder and harder. Its my right hand and i'm right hand dominant. Should I call the orthopedic and tell them how bad its getting? Or should I go to the ER? I basically am losing circulation in my hand which can't be good. And a week of this pins and needles and tingle feeling is really not comfortable. I am scared that the long term damage is going to keep getting worse if it continues like this.
