Do you think Bronc Riding is COOL or CRUEL?

I like it. It's fun to watch, and those horses have an AWESOME life outside of the arena.

I am pretty sure that in most rodeo associations and I know for pro rodeos bronc spurs have to have a smooth rowel and the use of rowels that have any type of point are not allowed.

Could be wrong but I am pretty sure that's the case. Definetly think its a cool event and have never thought that the horses were miss treated at all. Accidents do happen but they happen in all events to all types of horses.

Funny you should bring up harm to spectators. I was at a rodeo once and this bull tried to jump into the bleachers like 10 feet from me. They had a five foot cement wall(the bull cleared) with this cable fence deal on top of it. Luckly the bull couldn't jump that. But it was so scary!

I love bronc riding. Those horses are treated great. I went to the Pendelton round up last year and they weren't using prods on the horses. I don't like them shocking the horses but if its for the safety of the horse and rider its better than a broken leg.
