which rodeos doyou go to?

I waas just wondering what kind of rodeos you people on here attend. Like which associations and where you go for them.

I'm in the URA, PRCA,NBHA, NHSRA, UBRA, IBRA, AQHA, APHA and OKHSRA. I travel all over the country for rodeos, I'm gone every weekend for some sort of rodeo or barrel run.

I'm not quite a rodeo girl yet. I've been exhibitioning my little mare in barrels at local rodeos and NBHA, Central 4D, etc. Next year we'll be ready to start competing in the NBHA and Central 4D--I want to get into the Missouri Cowboy Rodeo Association--they do their big finals at the Missouri State fair, total blast to watch. There are a lot of AFRA rodeos at the local saddle club I'd love to get involved with too.

Yeah rodeos are my life literally haha, I've been making a living off of rodeos since I was like 8. That tells ya how big my parents were into rodeos.

Bet it's pretty nice! My parents know nothing about horses and livestock of any sort... I'm kinda the black sheep of the family, no idea where I got it from, but it's there for life! Missouri may not be know big time for our rodeos, but we've got a healthy local community around, tight nit, a lot of families. You could easily do one or two every weekend and not have to drive too awfully far. I've come across one or two people that do the big national events shadowing with a vet, but nothing like Texas or anything like that.

Yeah everyone in my family except my youngest brother does rodeos. It's sure does get pretty crazy for us on the on and off seasons getting horse ready to run or ready for resale

I am also the black sheep in my family. I haven't had that much support either, and have had to learn everything on my own. I want to start doing locals rodeos as well. But, I love to watch them!!

Yeah being the black sheep isn't fun at all, I am the only person in my family that barrel races. My two oldest brothers and dad rope and ride bulls, I am almost always the only girl in team roping but I am pretty darn good at it haha. Because my dad and brothers all do roping I've also learned how to tiedown rope. But I still love being able to do something that no one in my family has done before.

That's cool. Ha, for the longest time, I thought girls weren't even allowed to rope becuase I have never seen any. I thought that would also be fun to learn. I got my horses used to me swinging a rope around them just for fun becuase I love to try and rope stuff from the ground.

I also thought barrel racing was only a girls sport becuase I have never seen any guys do it. Except one time, this little five year old boy rode an amazing 14hh gelding that gently cantered him around the barrels and he just held on lol.
