Went to a rodeo tonight

And got some crappy pictures LOL. I am still trying to figure out my new camera so some of them are kinda crappy.

Team penning:

Then my brother's team was up (he's in the dark blue shirt and black hat).
They were the only ones to even pen one steer so they brought home the money. The cattle were old, burned out roping steers that would just run into your horse .

This was the only decent picture I ended up with from the mutton bustin'.

Then on to the roughstock events.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

continued....

These next ones would have been me .

You can see the cowboy in the dirt just left of the shadow line.

Then some of the speed events (though I can't figure out what setting is best as it gets dark).

and continued one more time...

This is the only picture of the barrels that even turned out a little bit LOL.

And finally, a few really crappy pictures of the bull riding and re-rides from bareback and saddle bronc.

Anyway. That was pretty much all for the competition for tonight. There will be more tomorrow.

I love rodeos. That's awsome that you have team penning! None of the ones here do. At least you brother won.

I have never seen team penning at any of the rodeos I've gone to, either, but I would love it if I could see it.

If there were team penning in any of the rodeos around here I would be entering into one haha! Team penning is super fun.
