What I want is a horse that is calm and relaxed, of course

, and one that has been roped off of quite a bit. Preferably one that has had both pasture and arena roping experience, that way, he does what you tell him to do instead of just running a pattern every time and not listening to cues. Only thing is, a horse that is good enough and experienced enough at roping for a beginner to learn on usually runs close to and upwards of $10,000 around here.
