I put a few of the ropers and their families up at the house in town. Always a good time with these folks.

I could be totally wrong, but I think in some of the bull doctoring deals, you are not to tail down. You head and heel then throw a trip.
I guess the rules depend on where your at and who's putting it on.

Cool pics...I got a chuckle out of the one with the paint horse with his tail in the loop :)

I love it!

I don't know about anyone else, but whenever we had something huge like that needing doctored, we always head and heel them and, if we've got a third person rope worthy, have them put a loop on a front leg to tip them over.

Though my brother did teach me how to down a big critter by yourself without having to trip them. That's come in handy a time or two LOL.
