My little cousin was weilding the camera half the time, so the pics might not be as good as they should be, but oh well!

People who think branding is tough on the calves should see what the humans look like at the end of the day! Wonderful pictures, I love seeing them! I never got to participate in a branding myself- just disbudding/dehorning at a dairy. Calves and kids are pretty adorable together.

Tell me about it! I was at brandings Friday and Saturday this weekend and I'm wiped. And dirty. And sore. As fun as it may be, its also HARD work on the humans and horses alike.

My poor Squiggy was falling asleep at beer breaks yesterday afternoon! I'm looking out the window and she's crashed hard, stretched right out and probably sleeping like a rock.

If you ever get the chance to participate at a branding, don't think twice about it! Lol
