Fit Problems

So..We have no saddle fitters, at all. I know the basics and how they're suppose to look/feel and sweat marks and such. Well..I have no idea what to do for Alahna.

I have a FQHB roper that fits relatively well, but it doesn't really sit on her back? And, I'm forced to have a wither cutout because the space under the pommel is too small.

I believe my gullet measures 7.5-8", which is perfect for how wide her shoulders are.

I figured a saddle with SQHB and a 7" gullet would fit relatively well, but..it didn't. It pinched her shoulders terribly and there still wasn't enough room between the pommel and her withers (had I not had a cutout pad).

So, obviously I need FQHB in a saddle. I need a 16" seat (technically should be a 17" but I like how I feel in a 16"). I also obviously need a gullet between 7.5-8". But what can I switch up to get the saddle to sit on her back more instead of just her shoulders and where the skirt sits? Her spine and about 2.5" to either side is always dry when the rest is sweaty.

Does anyone have any ideas on getting it to sit right and to get clearance over her withers?
