Saddle Slips Back

I have a new pony. He is 14 hh and an Arabian/QH/Morgan cross. He used to be a heeler in the roping circuit in Minnesota. Now he is mine in Maine. No matter how tightly we cinch his girth, his saddle slips backward. We have a breast plate on him to try to keep it from going too far back with mixed results. I'm suspicious he has a narrow shoulder and round pony belly, but I am wondering if any of you have suggestions on where to start in getting a properly fitting saddle for him?

Most likely the Saddle is too wide, if the Bars in the Saddle Tree are the wrong angle, not enough of the Bar is making contact with the Horse, thus the slipping, of course too narrow of a tree can do the same thing.

Can you post pics of the Saddle on your Horse without the pad?
