Trakehner Bloodlines

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'd like a little feedback from someone familiar with Trakehner bloodlines. I bought a 2008 filly last summer; she's 3/4 Trakehner and 1/4 Arab.

Here is her pedigree:

Amazin Grace Warmblood

And I'm going to try to attach a few pics of her that her former owner took. She's grown quite a bit since then, and the pics are kinda small, but these should give you a general idea of what she looks like.

I've found pictures of her dam and both pictures and video of a few relations, all through Abbahanna. However, I've not been able to find anything about her sire, and I am new to Trakehners, so I don't know anything about her bloodlines whatsoever, so any information would be much appreciated :) What are common characteristics of her bloodline, etc.

Thank you!

Hi and welcome to the forum
Your mare has an interesting pedigree. Sire is a National Show Horse, half Arabian, straight Egyptian Arabian lines, half American Saddlebred.
Dam is Trakehner, with lots of TB and again Arabian through Gazal. Interesting, one TB line through Traumgeist leads to Goody...I had a TB grandson of Goody. The " xx " behind a name means thoroughbred, the "ox" purebred Arabian).
Lots of very famous names, Schwalbenflug, Perserfuerst, Pythagoras, Dampfross.
If you Google " who shall I breed anniko to", you'll find a pic of your mare's half sister( it's a forum, can't link to another forum, sorry).
Im pretty sure, Dr. Google has quite a lot of info and pics about her ancestors. If you run into anything German, let me know, I'll translate for you

Character in general: Trakehner is bred for work. Tough as nails, big heart, endurance. Not always easy, but very honest in general. Now adding the Arabian and ASB, you get a good portion of sweet and even more endurance, and, of course, pretty

Wow, thanks! I am stupid enough that I missed that her sire's dam was a Saddlebred

Thanks for the link to one of her half-sisters! It amazes me: all of the Abbahanna foals I've seen have toplines and shoulders very much like Grace's (my mare).

I'm glad to hear the part about being honest :) My trainer keeps saying, at almost every lesson, "This horse is so honest!" Makes me smile. I got Grace mostly as an accident, and I'm just thrilled at how perfect she's turned out to be. Not literally perfect, of course, but she and I are quite well-matched. I love her work ethic: she's always wanting to learn, and loves every minute of it. She's a little testy right now, which I'm assuming is typical five-year-old behavior, but she's always willing to listen to people, though she wants a reason for everything! Of endurance, she has more than enough. And though I'm terribly biased, she is very pretty :) I'll try to get some better pictures when the weather warms up.

Thank you for all of your insight! Bloodlines are completely new to me. I'll do some more Googling!

Thanks again,

You're welcome
The link I told you to Google might be a good place to look, also.
She is a very pretty girl
