Introducing To Rumonek- To Stand During the 2014 Breeding Season

Rumonek is very pleased to announce that the gorgeous stallion Astro Boy will be standing at Rumonek Acres for the 2014 and 2015 breeding seasons!

Astro Boy is a 2006 Tested Smokey Black Tobiano
Gypsy Vanner Stallion. Son of the famed Cloneen Mull Of Kintyre (Aka "Romeo") and out of a gorgeous proper Cob mare, Cloneen Cladagh.

Already holding a win and reserve championship win in the ring, we plan on continuing Astro's training and he will be showing in Gypsy, Open, and Ptha competition in 2014.
He will be shown in-hand and under saddle, with sights on also showing in the cart.

We are very excited to add this exciting stallion to our program and look forward to what he can provide to Feathered mares in the breeding shed. He has an exceptional head piece, large expressive eyes, large flat bone, a short back, apple bottom, and an abundance of feather. Astro does not lack in the athletic department either! He has a ground-covering trot that outshines many of the stallions on the market today.

Aside from his world-wide respected pedigree, stunning good looks, and proper Cob conformation, Astro is a step above the rest in one very important aspect- He has time and time again proven himself to be an improvement sire. Astro continually improves the head, ears, hip/loin, and bone on his foals. Lets not forget about his ability to produce Smokey Black, Buckskin, and Palomino foals either! His part-bred foals are superb and look as though they are purebred. Astro will be bred for his first purebred foals in 2014.

Since Astro is new to Rumonek Acres, we will be offering special incentives to Gypsy Vanner mares and proven mares of other feathered breeds.

*A huge thank you to Lucky Star Ranch for allowing this stallion to join Rumonek!*

Some of those foals are stunning. Hope you are able to register a good amount of breedings for next year.

Thank you!
He will be bred to my mare (Gypsy Vanner) for at least one purebred Gypsy Vanner foal. I don't plan on hiking up his fee to a crazy number this year because of the plans of doing a lot of showing- going to keep it reasonable and try to get some high quality foals on the ground.

The plus side too is that his collection fee is very low and that is a big help for mare owners. He has excellent counts and has had no issue settling mares :)
