Do you Know

Hello, I am in the process of adopting a horse in the south Okanagan, and her story is heartbreaking..
Apparently she was brought here from the lower mainland to be sold, the woman who took her here abandoned her at a stable and went to Calgary. She sat there for quite some time and was starving (apparently) the owner of the stable took her to the woman who has her now and told her to shoot the mare, but she kept her instead.
The mare's name is unknown and her age is approximately 10 years. She is approximately 15.2 hands and is a flea bitten white/gray most likely Arabian. Apparently she did crossage before she came out here.
What I'm hopin to find out is some more info on her, like name, real age, and where she's from etc....I will try to post a pic once I find a working camera....apparently I broke mine riding yesterday >.<

Call her Gem while you don't know her name. It sounds like it fits her.
