Alright, so I am going to admit that I bought this saddle while still on some pretty heavy stuff after my knee surgery, and I just really wanted to be riding instead of laying in bed looking at horse stuff. I had also just sold my show saddle to finance a trailer purchase and was feeling regret over that. However, now that my brain is all cleared up it is become apparent that this saddle really doesn't fit me the greatest. Its fine at the walk and trot, but as soon as I start cantering it becomes obvious that the seat is just a touch too small for me. So, I am considering selling it. Its a 15 inch seat, full quarter horse bars, measures 7 inches across the gullet. Leather is soft and supple and the suede seat is in good shape. No rips or missing parts, fleece on the underside is also in good shape with no areas of wear. Its also relatively light weight for its age and style. $400 + shipping. If somebody is seriously interested I can get more pictures.
That is a very nice looking saddle and it's exactly what I'm looking for. I just wish I could afford a $400 saddle. :( Good luck selling it, though! I agree with the high quality of the TexTan saddles!
