16" Broken Horn Show Saddle w/Matching headstall-Kathys Show Halter too

Some of you know me because I am selling (or trade) my beautiful 2003 Buckskin Paint horse-Just Spot Me A Scotch. You can view his ad under the classified ads.

Due to the fact that I am trying to sell my show horse, I am selling my show equipment as a package deal.

Style: The style is #15. The neat thing about my halter is that it has the half moons covered in silver. It is a very unique halter and I always got compliments.
Leather Color: Dark Oil
The halter is in excellent shape. I don't have the matching lead because somone stole it. You can buy a replacement with no problem. Leather color is easy to match.

The only thing my saddle lacks is the cantle silver and the gullet silver. The leather color, seat color, and silver pieces are exactly the same on my saddle. I will double check on the tooling.

#3 2-Ear Broken Horn matching bridle with a nice show snaffle and reins. This bridle is in excellent shape.

*****Please note: The bridle has been stored inside in a zipped, padded bridle bag. The padded bag does come with the bridle.
The color of the back is Emerald Green.

I have had this show set for 3 years and it is mint condition. There is a slight scuff on the horn but its not noticable in the show pen.
For what I am asking, you can not beat this deal.

I will also throw in Show Numbers that attach to your show pad, a white show pad and a black Mayatex show blanket. The show pad has some wear and the blanket just needs a good cleaning but in excellent shape. Im throwing these in for free.

This set retails for around $4500. I am asking $2500 or Best Offer. Do not be afraid to offer me a price. I will consider your offer.

Since I believe the original poster's saddle is sold, I wanted to let you know that I have a Broken Horn Show Saddle for sale.

I have a 16" acorn fino Broken Horn custom saddle that is better than Dale Chavez! The first owner said it was purchased in 2006 for over $5,000. She never rode in it, and I have only ridden in it twice. It has been professionally cleaned. Any shading is from the camera.

This saddle is from California and is not very common over East. But, the seatwork in these Broken Horn saddles is fantastic. Men are comfortable in this saddle, and Women can get their legs around it because the seat is narrow in the right places. They position you with your feet underneath you, so that you can use your shock absorbers. It's excellent for WP and for equitation.

Gullet: SQHB
Seat" 16" from inside of pommel to the stitch on the cantle.
Weight: I'd estimate it's around 35lbs to 38lbs. This is not a flimsy flex tree saddle. It is traditional construction, and it's built to last decades. Not thin leather either.

Nice hand carving.

It has a nameplate, but it might be possible to replace the letters and reuse this plate. You can get a full silver cantle from Broken Horn in Baldwin Park, CA. Or, you can order a replacement plate with you name on it. Contact Broken Horn for more information.

The fenders and stirrup leathers are standard, I.e., nothing is customized for either tall or short rider, and stirrup leathers have not been cut. It is in great condition except that there is a light scratch under the cantle where I bumped into a saddle rack. You can hardly notice it.
