Wonderful saddle! No major damage just some wear.
Oiled and kept in the house! Saddle is a great starter/just for fun/or lesson/training saddle! Maybe even a show saddle!

Close contact or all purposE?

Im not 100% sure, it has the knee rolls but it is close contact.

Is the back of the seat squared, or is it rounded? That can help you differentiate between all purpose and close contact :)

Those are some pretty heavy duty scratches on that saddle, and the cantle looks beat all to heck.

With some TLC it might come back to looking halfway decent, but it'll never be a show saddle again.

The sratches are light on the surface, and it was never a show saddle, it was a lesson/everyday saddle. There is nothing wrong with the cantle, If it was a show saddle it would be in better shape, and a higher price...duh.

What size of tree does it have?

Wish you had this for sale when I was looking. Great price and I can't believe someone hasn't snatched it up!
