16" Harry Dabbs Prix D

The person who was interested in my saddle hasn't gotten back to me so I'm putting up for sale since I'm tired of tripping over the box.

It's 16" Harry Dabbs Prix D. Wide tree. Everything is in amazing shape except there is a tear on the edge of the seat. Someone rode in it and didn't oil it!! Grr! I love this saddle, but now that I ride western only I never use it and it doesn't make sense to keep it. It will come with the leathers and Flexi stirrups! Well worth the $200 I'm asking for it. I have paypal (though I haven't quite figured how to use it yet, lol) You also pay shipping. First come first serve.

Photos are in my albums! ;)

Bump...

This saddle has many mile left in it! If you look on horsetackreview.com and search this saddle you will see the ride actually rode the seat out of hers. It is SO comfortable, it has many many trail miles on it. It's like riding on a pillow. I would say its as good as the crosby XL, which was what I originally wanted to buy before I bought this saddle.

Can you post a closer up photo of the rip? It doesn't look good in the one photo - but maybe it's reparable? Or at least can be evaluated?

Yeah I'll try to get one tomorrow. If I had time to look into getting it repaired I would. I don't ride in it so its been on the back burner. Even if someone got 2 years minimum out of it I think $100 a year is will worth it. I paid $50 for the stirrups alone. It would be a great starter saddle, spare saddle, or schooling saddle. If it can be fixed then someone just doubled the value of this awesome saddle! :) We have an HDR saddle on our school like with a similar tear (actually its twice the size, but same spot) and its still going strong 3 years later.

Do you still have your Prix D? If so I would like to know more about it, I am new to horseforum and I don't know how to view pics. Thanks, Meghan
