My family owns 8 paso finos, that's why I asked, this is a great saddle for riding gaited horses. Hopefully you'll be able to help me out! Haha. I have changed the gullet out a few times and it works wonderfully! Takes about five minutes max, and it fits lots of different horses. I have not personally ridden in it for over 8 miles, but in those 8 miles it was awesome! Super comfy.

Man, Im starting to want this more and more..my favorite mount is a Reg Missouri Foxtrotter, and planning LD rides to work towards possible endurance competitions next year...hmmm. Let me ask my mentor/trainer and see what she thinks. Heck, maybe she will want it, lol..plus we know tons of riders who practically go thru 5 saddles or more a year! Crazy

Thank you so much! I have a paso gelding that I've always wanted to do that with, it seems like it would be a blast.

Thanks! I need all the help I can get. :))
And some people really can go through some saddles, it amazes me...

Late as hell here, game is over, and class tomorrow..so I tell ya if the scenery is awesome, the miles fly by! Esp on a gaited horse! Many of them are on arabs, or mules..very few realize the comfprt and blinding speed of a gaited horse..or the stamina they have! I won't lie, spme of these trails are no joke! Steep hills, up and donw, anad sometimes dismounting and picking your way on foot happens...and the horses condition will really bring you up on time barriers...but I have to do this at least once! Bucket list thing, ya know!
