18" Australian stockseat saddle with horn, dark oil. Nice leather; has some scuff marks but not anything major. Tree is solid. Comes with matching leather headstall and reins (buckles on it match the ones on the saddle) bit, grey felt pad, 34" neoprene girth, brass irons and breast collar (does not match exactly but it looks ok)

$300 plus shipping or trade for 15-16" Cordura Endurance saddle of equal value. Please PM me your email address so I can send pics (will be avaliable on here on Wednesday) Serious inquries only, please. Can only accept postal money orders at this time

That's a very pretty saddle. I owned a stock saddle once when I was training my OTTB for polo, and I loved it. Not quite that quality, but it was functional. It didn't have a horn either. I don't have a Cordura saddle but I have a comfy roping saddle... ;] Naw, I wouldn't scam ya like that, my roper is not that pretty. :P Good luck selling!

How does it girth on; like a jump saddle, dressage saddle or what? What is that other ring for / is it a flank cinch?
What would you say is the width of the tree?
Are those the typical angle for the polleys or more upright to allow for posting? Can you post in it ok? (looks like the polleys would get in the way.)
I have never ridden in one but am curious.

It cinches up like an English saddle, with buckles. The big ring is for a crupper or back cinch. You can post in them just fine; the knee rolls don't get in the way anymore than a regular pommel would. From my experience with these saddles you have a lot of freedom in them; hence why I used one for polo. I could maneuver around wonderfully, but still felt secure. Aussies are great saddles! And super comfy!

The "overgirth" has a ring on it that you loop the longer piece on the girth through. It cinches just like an English saddle would. The other ring is for the back cinch. I think that the width of the tree is definantly meant for more narrow breeds; I ride my gaited Bashkir Curly x Arab mare in it and it fits her very well.

Yes, you can post in it well. This saddle sits you differently (more of a "chair seat" for long distance rides) but you can still post in it well. The polleys do not get in the way at all.
