4 Sale, English Schooling & Show Tack, Gloves, & Chaps

Okay, so I'm cleaning out my tack boxes and have some things for sale, mostly new! I've come to the realization that I don't really NEED these things, even though I'd like to keep them, lol. I have an $800 car repair bill looming that would really like to be paid . I'm sure I'll have more as I finish organizing and cleaning my tack room! Lots of gloves! (they kept getting "lost", so I kept buying more! Lol)

Winter Insulated full chaps! These are black windproof and water resistant nylon with a soft fleece lining, marked size Large. The gray stripes are reflective. The back waist strap is elastic, for a comfortable fit. There is a velcro closure down the whole leg, to seal off the zipper. Bottom straps cinch up around your ankle to prevent drafts up your leg.

Measurements are as follows:
Inseam: 33"
Thigh: 25.5"
Calf: 19" - large enough to fit over the bulkiest of wither boots
Waist/Hips: 36"-42" (comfortably)



Arete half chaps, synthetic suede, very nice! The brown are 16-18" calf size, 16" height. The Black w/gray stripe are 14.5-16.5" calf, 16.5" height. I'll take $25 each, they retail $45.

AP square pad, Passport by Toklat. All white, new in the plastic. 21.5" at the spine, 19.5 drop from spine to bottom edge. $15.

Brown real sheepskin English seat cover. VERY nice! Thick pile, soft, good straps for attaching. Made by Engel. $30

AP Square pad, Black with green piping. THICK waffle weave, very cushiony, made my Cushion-Air. I washed this one in hot water and it shrunk! Won't fit my daughter's saddle anymore. It's in fair to good condition, freshly laundered. Only a little wear from the rider's leg and some very minor fading. 20" at the spine, 16" drop. Good for 16.5" or smaller Close Contact saddles. $8

Reins: flat black, 1/2" curb reins, no buckle at the middle. Crump Chetak brand. Never used! A bit stiff, but these oil up pretty nicely. 54" to the middle, 118" full length. $10 Matching Bridoon hangar, also never used, 37" at middle hole, $5.

Pre-Tied Stocktie, White, 18/24 brand, Ladies size Large. New in the bag! $17.95 retail, I'll take $10.

Medallion Fleece half pad by Toklat. Used, but in good condition. No stains. Size is Large, 21" at the spine, 23" total length. It is synthetic fleece with foam in the middle, no billet straps. $10

THICK Fleece CC/AP shaped pad of unknown brand. Very nice and lofty, used but in good shape. It had something written on it under the flap, but it's faded. Front and bottom billet keppers intact. Not contoured at the top. $10

More stuff!

LONG Dark Brown Courbette leathers with Fillis style irons. Leathers measure 65.5" from the end of the buckle to the last hole!! They are in very nice condition, soft and pliable, well matched (only off a bit, last owner didn't switch them enough), flesh side out to prevent rubs to your saddle or your legs. These leathers retail in the $100 range. Irons measure a hair over 4.75" on the inside, white pads, new condition. $35 for both leathers and irons!

44" English Girth. Contoured, split end, elastic on one end, medium red/chesnut color. The elastic is a bit stretched, girth measures closer to 45". Still in great shape though, no rust on the buckles. Unknown brand. $15

Suitability Patterns! Both new and complete, only taken out to look at them. $5 each.
#4700 Womens Western Show Vest Pattern, sizes 6-24. This is a button pattern with a v-neck. Very classy!
#4000 Womens and Girls Zippered and Collared Vest Pattern. Misses sizes 6-24, Girls sizes 2-16. V-Neck or High neck (asian type collar) show vest pattern.

Neoprene Cinch, 30", no rust, good condition. The neoprene is splitting on the outside layer along the middle seam (away from the horse). This does not affect the use of the girth, only cosmetic. Nice heavy duty girth with rings for breastcollar or tiedown. $10

Two long red/brown colored Latigos. VERY nice quality, thick leather, with holes punched to use buckle cinches. One is barely used, 75". The other is new, 68". $10 each.

Neoprene Cinch, 30", no rust, good condition. The neoprene is splitting on the outside layer along the middle seam (away from the horse). This does not affect the use of the girth, only cosmetic. Nice heavy duty girth with rings for breastcollar or tiedown. $10 (kitten not included )


Double Ear braided headstall and split reins, dark oil, horse size. Nice set, NEW! Some dust and minor wear from storage. Engraved german silver buckles and conchos. I have cleaned and conditioned this bridle, shortly before taking the photo. It's got a tag on it, "ZAZ River Front LTD. Leather Distributors" out of Missouri. Bridle says made in India. The leather is a LOT softer than any of the other Asian tack I have bought. The double ears, cheek pieces, and reins at the bit end are all braided leather. It's a very nice set! Great for small shows or as a fancy trail bridle. I paid $40 for it. I'll let it go for $25.
