As a little plug for you, the summer camp I work for during the summer has one of these saddles and it is literally the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden in, bar none.
I actually almost traded them my current saddle for this saddle last summer but discovered that it did not fit Lacey as well as the one I already owned, so I didn't take it.
It fit the SUPER wide, mutton-withered, Saddlebred/Arab mare that comes to camp to a T, like it was made for her. So depending on the tree of this saddle, it might be really great for wider, hard to fit wide, horses.

Anyway, hopefully this helps somebody. :) Like I said, this is basically a wonderful saddle. I'd totally buy it except for the fact that I already have a saddle! I am gonna be SO jealous of the person who buys this saddle, I'm already coveting it and I totally don't need it. Haha

Good luck!

The saddle for sale is a roper, the "whip thing" is the loop for holding the lasso. Likely a rawhide covered tree which is very strong. If mail from the US to Canada wasn't so high I'd consider buying it. For any Canadians who might be interested it will cost you about $85 in mailing costs plus we get nailed 13% (Ontario) plus $5 for the post office to collect= $485.

Yes,I did post it for this much and Tinyliny told me it was worth more so I made a new ad.I'm not going to sell it dirt cheap nor top of the line prices as in this economy people are lookin for reasonable and I found out it was a Bona Allen. Very nice, well built saddle.

Good luck! I think it is a good buy and I love the brand but selling it will not be easy I don't think. I was just looking on ebay and only one Bona Allen saddle has a bid on it of $50 and of the completed listings the highest on went for $255 the others that sold did not go over $200. Sad when you see junk new sell for more :(
