Hey Kim, got a question for you!! Found my new saddle today, but it's brown, a really dark brown ("chocolate" is what they call it). It's a Marcel Toulouse Premia...anyway, that means my bridle is also brown now, not the black one I had you working on a brow band for! Did you already start on mine, or could I switch to a dark brown leather backing??

I am SO excited to see it, I think I'm definitely sticking with the burgundy show color for Sandie, it just looks so great on her!

Hi HITS, I guess you didn't see the thread I started under TACK and EQUIPMENT where I posted your browband and another's browband.

I am glad you found your new saddle though. Where did you find it?

It's no big deal to leave it on black, it'll probably blend anyway even with my new dark brown bridle since it's such a dark shade of brown

I got the saddle at a local tack shop...I'll take some pics of jumping with it for the first time tomorrow and post them!

Cool! Did you get your M.T Premia brand new? Or used?

Here's the bridle I got to match it...although mine has "fancy stitching" but it's impossible to find a pic of that bridle in the color I got!

Here's the actual one I got, but in a darker color than this pic shows...

So even if the browband is already on black I think it'll blend nicely anyway

Very pretty! Even I were to put it on a dark brown backing, it wouldn't have the fancy stitching that your lovely bridle has.

I got it new! Couldn't find ANYTHING used that had knee rolls, blocks, and a forward flap...this saddle had all that plus thigh blocks that are removable! It was too good to pass up the deal

And still less $$ than most of the used Stubbens I found...

I think that is fabulous :) LOL - we're carrying on a conversation in 3 threads.
