I decided to start a new thread for my Browbands that I have for sale, since the last thread was cluttered.

Here is a thread that I have on another forum:

Browbands, Browbands, Browbands! - Horse Forums (HGS)

~~~~~~
Crown Jeweled Beaded Browbands
Each browband is made especially for you and your horse, in whatever colours you choose, and whatever beads you choose (With or Without Swartz Crystals). I can make each browband with or without a leather backing, your choice of color *black or brown*. I can make each browband in th size you need, to accomodate those in-between sized heads.
When you buy a browband, you are buying a one of a kind product that no one else will have. No two browbands are ever the same. Choose your colors based on your horses color, your barn colors, your competative colors or even your favorite colors.
I can use Swartz Crystals and Swartz Accents, Glass Beads, Semi Precious Stones - beads of your choice to accomodate your wants and needs. I also use Silver Metal Accents, or if you want, Gold Metal Accents. I feel these beads hold up during daily use and cleaning. I use safe, jewlery quality materials to make each beaded strand, so that the browband bends and flexes with use without breaking or falling apart.
The beaded strands can come with a leather backing, or without - your choice. For browbands with a leather backing, they are meticulously attached to the leather by hand, no glues are used what-so-ever.
These browbands look fabulous in the show ring, or even out on the trails! These look smashing in the Dressage Ring, Out on the CC course, Jumper Ring, Gymkannah, Endurance or just for fun!
Price List:
  1. Beaded Browband with Swartz Crystals, and with a leather backing $45.00
  2. Beaded Browband with Swartz Crystals, and without a leather backing $40.00
  3. Beaded Browband without Swartz Crystals, and with a leather backing $35.00
  4. Beaded Browband without Swartz Crystals and without a leather backing $30.00
This is how they look on the horse:
*Just a note, these one's are without swartz* Swartz can be seen in my photobucket account
Rissa, any color would look smashing on your boy. Go with what colors you use mostly on him, or your favorite colors.
All my tack is black as well - my Eventing Colors are Navy Blue and Baby Blue - I went with allot of different colors with him, but what I ended up doing was went with a neutral color that would match any color I chose to put on him. But he does have fun colored browbands as well :)
He has Navy Blue, Baby Blue and Lime Green. He has all white pearls and silver accents. He has baby blue and silver accents. He's spoiled - lol.
He can do greens, blues, burgundy's, black, pearls, any color would look good on him.
Darkwillow - thank you! I make them with allot of time, effort and patience...lol! The reason why I ask the prices I ask, is because I cannot afford expensive tack myself and I wanted to make 'bling' for people like me, who want pretty things for their horses, but cannot spend the money on them.
As soon as a new browband comes up on the list of things I want, I will PM you! One of those in lime green/black/white would look AMAZING on my boy!
Quick question: what do you use to thred the beads onto? I wouldn't want the browband to break if I got one without backing. I know it probably wouldn't; I'm just wondering!
Your browband wont break without a backing! I use a beading stretch cord for my beaded strands.
I tried wire, and I found it stretched and wouldn't go back to its origional state. And it was difficult to make it even to match the other areas of the strand. I also found if it was stretched too much, it weakened and broke.
So I find that the beading stretch chord is so much better -because it can stretch without breaking, and go back to its origional state. So it moves in accordance to the horses forehead shape and stays put, then goes back to where it should be when the bridle is taken off.
I am in the process of buying new tack for my baby boys, so if I have any money left over(it is hard to buy all new tack with your own money when you are fifteen), I will most definately be ordering one of these.
They are gorgeous! I am gonna try my best to save up enough for one.
