    Camera..

So here is the story...My mom bought this camera for me for my birthday, my dad bought me a different one. I chose to stick with my dad's camera so this one is now for sale.

I just took it out of the box for the first time tonight, I got it last year. I figured everything worked great on it but I just wanted to make sure!
Everything is brand new and perfect except it won't zoom in. I talked to my tech genius boyfriend and he said that you could easily get that fixed for $50-$100. I have the receipt that says we paid $519 for it.
It's a great camera, it's a Sony Cybershot with a full touch screen.
It was a little extra because we bought the deluxe package. It included an extra battery, a memory card, a stand, a cleaning cloth and other things of that sort.

Will anyone buy it in it's current condition or should I get it fixed then sell it for more?
George needs a corrective pad so that's what the money is for. I found a used one I like for $150.
I know it's a wonderful camera it just has one minor issue that would be super easy to get fixed.

Make me an offer if you are interested or just tell me what you think it's worth. I know it's not worth $300 or anything but I think it's worth more then $50.

I can't ride George until we get a pad because my saddle hurts his back so I need to sell this thing as soon as possible!

    Thanks for your time!

Just a note, if your saddle doesn't fit right in the first place, a pad won't change that.

P.S. You may want to let people know where you live (country at least!)

If it is a brand new camera with reciept, and the zoom doesn't work - return it and get the money for it.

Oh I'm sorry, I'm in the United States but, If it sells for the right price I will ship anywhere free.
I can't return because I didn't open it until now and it's been a year so they won't take it back :(

Oh and I know a pad won't make the saddle fit, but I had four or so people tell me a corrective pad would make it work better, so it's worth a try.

Thats a bummer :[ You expect things new from the box to work as advertised.

No worries, just thought i'd mention that as so many people think it will fix everything!

Yeah you do, but now I just have to sell it.
I know, If it doesn't work the saddle is for sale again, which is a huge bummer because the saddle was very expensive and it would be hard to get that back out of it.

Don't you hate that? I'm about to shell out 4k for a handmade saddle, my horse had terrible damage done to his back by bad fitting saddles and it left him with a lot of problems. It's so frustrating.
