Collegiate dressage saddle - barely broken in - $350

Looks every bit as nice in person as it does in the pictures. Black 17" Collegiate Classic dressage saddle, narrow tree. Fits slightly larger than 17". This saddle has a really close contact feel so it might be a nice transition for someone coming over from another discipline. It has a lower pommel and moderate twist that really help you feel your seat on the horse. Pencil knee rolls and lightly padded flaps. Average length flaps, long billets. Despite being a narrow tree, the panels don't lend themselves to a roofy-backed horse.. they work better for a horse with muscling along the topline that need accommodations for their withers (also has cutback pommel).

This design has been said to be a copy of the Crosby Freestyle or Prix St George, and it's really remarkably similar. The Collegiate is priced at a fraction of the cost and probably in newer condition than most used Crosby's! Saddle's age is unknown, but it's in impeccable condition.

I bought it for a horse I'm bringing back into work and he's muscling up and ready to move to wider tree. Asking $350.

Are all three pics the actual saddle being sold? Are there any marks, nicks or cuts on the saddle? Do you know the size (in inches) of the tree? Does it come with leathers? Where are you located and how much for shipping? If you have any more pics, I'm very interested.

Yep, that's the actual saddle. Looks very much like a model in photos! I'll double check on all of the other info for you. I am fairly sure there aren't nicks, rubs, etc on the saddle.. the most wear is slightly wrinkling on the padded knee flaps, the rest is nowhere close to worn.

For tree measurement, I'll plan to measure inside the gullet from just where the padding starts (about nailhead to nailhead). If you want something different feel free to let me know.

I'm in Maryland. Shipping is usually about $20, I'll price out the actual cost with a destination zip. More pictures to follow! Thanks a bunch.

Nailhead to nailhead is perfect. Thanks!

I'm headed out to pick up the saddle this evening, so will have some pictures and measurements later on to share!

The tree measures about 4 1/4" - 4 1/2" inside the gullet at the height of nail heads. About 5 1/2" from actual nailhead to nailhead. 10" between tree points.

I couldn't locate any flaws on the saddle other than some wrinkling on the padded portion of the flaps.

Here are some additional pictures:
