Custom English saddle pads

I'm making custom English saddle pads for anyone who is interested. =] They are fairly thin, so won't affect the fit of your saddle, but will add spunk and keep your saddle clean! They cost $20+$5 shipping. I have a website, and the simplest way to place an order is via the site. If you'd like to order through HF, please message me and let me know what you're looking for!

I am making these pads because I'm trying to save up for a four-week trip to Tennessee next summer (2011) to train with an upper-level event rider. (And ride at the KY Horse Park!) If you'd like to "sponsor" my trip by ordering a saddle pad, please visit:

If I can answer any questions, please let me know!

Does the price include everything (except shipping)?

I can not tell from the photo on your site, are there billet straps or a girth keeper strap or are they like baby pads and have no keepers?

Do you have fabric choices?

Thanks, WickedNag! =]

Alwaysbehind- Yes, the price includes everything except shipping, unless you want extras (b/c of extra fabric and/or nylon costs).

The extra costs are $2 extra if you'd like a dressage-sized pad instead of a standard-sized all-purpose pad.

Girth straps are free, just have to check the box if you would like them. I simply wanted to offer the option of having or not having them, since I personally have pads with and without myself, for various purposes. Personal preference, I suppose.

The billet straps, if you would like them, are an extra $7 because the nylon for them will cost extra and positioning them just right takes a bit more time than usual.

So to answer your question, you can have both, one or the other, or none at all!

The easiest way to pick out a fabric is to go to Home : Shop | and give me a link to the fabric or type of fabric you're looking for. (It should cost between 4.99-6.99/yd, if you're looking for a basic solid or a cotton print.) I have a Hobby Lobby that carries fabrics, a JoAnn that has fabrics, and a Wal-Mart that carries fabric near my home, so I can go to all three stores, and take photos of what I can find, and get back to you to make sure that the fabric is the print or color that you would like. (Assuming I cannot find the exact fabric that you have shown me at JoAnn.)

Let me know if I can answer any more questions! =]

I have been discussing things with my mom, and she feels that I should focus on my schoolwork, and see how things are going with the new classes I'm taking before I commit to making saddle pads, another large time commitment.

I heard back about an equine internship I had inquired about today, and I received the internship (!!!), so there's another time commitment.

I hope I haven't caused anyone any inconvenience, but maybe after Christmas I'll have enough time to commit to taking orders. Thanks!
