Charlene: (Sorry for taking so long to get back) I have personally had no trouble with them fraying at all. No one who's gotten one from me has had a problem (at least that they informed me of). The first one I made for me, I wore every day for a number of months, in and out of the shower... every day wear and tear, and it's still holding strong.

Where is the best place to take the tail strands from , Underneath? Just curious as I am seriously considering ordering a bracelet using the tail hair of my 2 horses. They both have black tails though.

Horses and children, I often think, have a lot of the good sense there is in the world.
