Sara swaps, holds a counter canters, clips, loads, stands for the vet and farrier, cross ties, etc. She goes out on trails with other horses or with a average to confident rider. I showed her at 3'-3'3" last summer on the Vermont circuit, and at Shallowbrook, Northeast Benefit, and Manchester. I've been very successful with her in Eq and Jumpers. She's never refused a jump inside the ring (once outside, when she pulled up five strides away from a particularly scary looking hay bale jump. She swore there was a monster underneath it.)
I don't do a lot of dressage, but she's beens schooling dressage with an old instructor this spring, and doing very well. She competed training and 1st level in Florida before I bought her, and my instructor says she could easily move up to 2nd level.
I spent a lot of time looking for a 3' horse that I could afford before I got Sara, and she's truly been a diamond in the rough. I really want to find a good home for her. Please contact me if you're interested in her. Her sale price is $15,000, and a year long lease would be $5,000. I'd be willing to do leasing with an option of buying at the end of or during the lease.
