I have ridden in this saddle twice for 35 minutes and 2 hours respectively and it is absolutely cushy and comfy
Will trade for a 17"-18" synthetic dressage or all purpose saddle, would LOVE a Wintec of any style.
Manufacturers info:
A lightweight, balanced saddle designed for long distance endurance and trail riding. Comfortable, wide padded seat distributes the rider's weight allowing for long hours in the saddle. Equipped with dees over cantle for attaching gear. Stirrups and stirrup leathers are sold separately. Medium width tree.
# Medium deep seat.
# Formed panels.
# Fine grained leather.
# Nylon reinforced billets.
Would love to hang on to it but I already have 2 trail/endurance type saddles that I use and am trying to stick to synthetic as I am horrible about taking care of my leather saddles.
What is the gullet measurement as well as the measurement at the widest part of the flaps? I just got a new horse and want to be sure it would fit, though I think it would.
This is on the wide side (one of the reasons for parting with it as my boy is a narrow TWH) I believe it has an 8" gullet but I could be mistaken and if you really are interested I can measure tomorrow.
^ He's coming 3 right now, and still has a lot of filling out to do, so I'm not sure how wide of a saddle I'd need. He is definitely not a super thick drafty, though.
If you could get measurements, that would be great!
