Gorgeous 15.5" Vintage Simco Western saddle for sale or trade

This saddle is the first saddle I have found that fits Hope's flat back so nicely

It puts my legs in the perfect place, the twist is perfect for women, it is so nicely balanced and is super comfy. Hope moves better in this saddle than any saddle I have used so far but it is just too snug for my butt

It is a snug 15.5" and although I am losing weight, I just don't think I will ever be small enough again to fit properly in this saddle

The fleece is in great shape and the the horn is tight and the tree is sound. This saddle will last for years and years with the proper care. Will come with a 30" x 30'' and pretty much brand new saddle pad if you want it. Skirt length is 25". The fleece is in excellent shape. Stirrups are engraved with very pretty tooling and super secure and comfy. Fenders will adjust for 6ft.- 6ft. 2" man or shorter for a petite woman. The saddle weighs 25#. It is being used on a TWH.

I paid $300 shipped. Make a reasonable offer or will trade for a saddle with a bigger seat such as a roomy 16" or 17" with high cantle and a flattish tree for her flat back. Will also consider an 18" Aussie or 17" endurance style saddle. Any saddle that will fit a gaited horse and my butt

I am a long time member on another horse forum and have an excellent buying and selling reputation :)

What a beautiful saddle! If it would fit my rump, I would have it in a heartbeat! If you don't get a trade and still need a saddle, I have a 17" bighorn for sale that wont fit my TB. PM me if you want! Good luck!

Thank you! I saw the pics of your saddle and love it! I was kicking myself for not seeing it before I bought this one. The Simco was sold to me as a roomy 16" but when I took it out of the box I knew it was smaller. I can ride in it without sitting on the cantle, but it's more snug than I care for.
If someone buys the Simco outright, I will definitely be PM'ing you

Decided to keep the saddle! I rode in it today and am fitting better in it. I've been dieting :)
