handmade bit warmers

It's time to think ahead to winter riding. While a blanket of snow makes for a very pretty ride, wintertime also means colder temperatures. No horse enjoys having a frigid piece of metal in his mouth, but warming bits can be a hassle. With this little gem you no longer need to give yourself cold fingers or lug buckets of hot water. Just warm it in the microwave before heading out to the barn, and wrap it around your bit when you get there. It closes with velcro and does the warming work for you while you tack up your horse.

I have the selection below made up and ready to go, and because that is what I would like them to do I am selling them for $15 each including Priority Mail shipping! Payments by PayPal only, please.

I have the following colors and quantities:
pink - 3
black - 2
green tie dye - 1
royal blue tie dye - 4
red - 2
hunter green - 3
sky blue (light blue) - 1
royal purple - 3

Custom color combinations and different prints are available by order at $15 plus shipping.

I will definitely be getting a black one! I'm just transferring some money into my paypal. How much will shipping be to postal code V0N 2L0? What keeps them warm? Are they full of rice or something? How long will they stay warm for? Thanks!

First Class International to Canada will be about $6, but that's only about $1 more than the shipping method I said I would do for free in the US, so how about $16 total for you? You can send me a PM for my PayPal info...

I don't want to give away too much info about the warmers, so let's just say that the filler in the removable insert is all-natural. If the insert somehow springs a leak you don't have to worry if kids or pets accidentally eat a little bit before you can get out the vacuum. The polar fleece cover is washable because let's face it, it will get dirty.

I've not actually done any proper testing on the lasting-ness of the warmth, but what I can tell you is how I use mine. I live a 15 minute drive from the barn, so before I leave my house I pop my warmer in the microwave for 45 seconds and then stick it in my coat pocket. By the time I'm done tacking up (and my best friend at the barn can tell you I'm kinda pokey when it comes to tacking up) and the warmer has done its job, it's still warm so I put it back in my coat pocket. All told that's probably about 45 minutes and it's still warm.
