Horse blankets, show clothing (Eng), GR8, cheap saddle pads, open front boots & more!

HORSE CLOTHING

Mint Condition, Rambo Duo blanket set (light, medium, and heavy blanket), navy/green trim, size 84- $325
-An innovative layering system for exceptional warmth and versatility.
-Three blankets in one! You are getting the following: An outer turnout blanket/shell with 100 grams of fill; a hood with 100 grams of fill; a layering blanket/stable rub with 100 grams of fill; and a layering blanket/stable rub with 300 grams of fill. That is MORE than comes with the blanket when you buy it in a tack shop, I bought the 300 gram fill layering piece separately.
-A simple yet technical rug, the Rambo Duo combines a 100gm. waterproof/breathable Outer Rug and 300gm Under Blanket to provide a lightly insulated rug for those slightly chilly days and a Heavy Weight Turnout of 400gm for colder ones.
-I also am including a 100 gm under liner. If you add the 100 gm liner to the outer shell- you have a medium blanket.
-So with this one blanket you get a 100 gm light blanket, a 200 gm medium, and a 400 gm heavy. Plus a hood!
-Three surcingles, Wug style clip front with velcro, and tail strap.
-Lightly used and freshly laundered/reproofed. In good condition free from rips/tears and damage beyond light normal wear.
-The Rambo Duo outer blanket, neck cover, and 300 gram liner retail for $400 and the extra 100 gram liner retails for $46, so the entire package I am selling costs $446.

Back on Track mesh sheet, size 78/80, used once, black- $230
-The Back on Track Therapeutic Mesh Sheet is a breathable mesh material with state-of-the-art fabric containing polyester thread embedded with a fine ceramic powder
-Designed to reflect the horse's own body-warmth, it creates a soothing far infrared thermal heat, which can help alleviate pain associated with inflamed muscles and joints
-Two chest buckles, crossing belly surcingles and a tail flap
-Material: Exterior-polyester/Interior-polypropylene blend infused with Back on Track's revolutionary ceramic infused fiber
-Retails for $260

Mint Condition, Rambo Wug sheet (no fill), purple/silver trim, Size 72- $220
-1000D Ballistic Nylon Outer
-Waterproof and Breathable
-Nylon Lined
-Leg Arches™ and 3rd Surcingle
-High Cut neck design
-Patented ‘V’ front closure. Allows the horse more room at the base of his neck due to its patented 'V' shape. There is more freedom across his chest allowing him to dip his head without obstruction. The unique close also transfers pressure above the point of shoulder so as to relieve any tightness and allow for greater freedom of movement.
-Reflective Strips
-Lightly used and freshly laundered/reproofed. In good condition free from rips/tears and damage beyond light normal wear. The trim right around the Velcro is slightly fuzzed (see picture) from where it sometimes got touched by the velcro. Minor, minor thing but I mention it for the sake of completeness. This was VERY lightly used, it’s a year old and was the backup only for days when Stoney’s regular sheet got soaked.
-Retails for $285, asking $220

(very, very light pilling near Velcro)

RIDING APPAREL

New in box! Charles Owen GR8 helmet, black/black, size 7 and ¼ (59)- $225
-Brand new, still in box, never even tried on, manufacture date marked inside helmet-- 4/2009
-This lower-profile riding helmet by Charles Owen is covered with microfiber suede and treated to protect against scuffs.
-Gently rounded brim flatters face; black harness gives a finished look and is reinforced with nylon for added safety.
-A stamped metallic logo and embroidered logo as well.
-Soft Coolmax® inner lining.
-ASTM F-1163-04a/SEI Certified.
-In black/black
-Size 7 and ¼ (59 cm)
-Retails for $275, asking $225

Mint Condition, Grand Prix Extreme Stretch hunt coat, taupe/olive plaid, size 20 long- $100
- Made in Canada from the finest wool with stretch for added comfort, the custom-tailored fit looks great and allows you to perform at your very best.
-Stretch lining to assure greater freedom of movement, superior breathability and ultimate comfort.
-Articulated sleeves, double-vented backs and coordinating buttons.
-Medium taupe colored plaid, with a bit of an olive tone to the color. Not super super light tan, and not as dark as brown or true olive, more of a medium warm color. Would look super with a bay, gray, or chestnut horse-- a very versatile color.
-No interior tag, but I believe this is a size 20 long in Grand Prix Sizing. Please check measurements to assure fit, since there’s no tag. It’s rare to find a plus-sized hunt coat like this! I estimate this will fit someone who is roughly a size 14 in normal ladies clothing and a size 18/20 in hunt coats.
-Very lightly used, worn no more than a handful of times
-Approximate measurements are as follows (in inches): point-to-point of shoulders 17; length down the back seam 27; and length down the sleeves 25.
-Retails for $470, asking $100

(in person the blue in the plaid isn’t quite as bold as the camera makes it out to be)

O’Keahey’s cotton/lycra riding tights, taupe, adult large- $35
-These brand new, with tags riding tights are made with super stretch 88% Cotton & 12% Lycra fabric.
-They are great for summer riding - constructed from 14 ounce cotton lycra fabric which make for a rugged all-around tight.
-Taupe in color.
-O'Keaheys tights feature generous Ultra Suede knee patches, seamless inner leg construction for added comfort, elastic draw cord waistband with belt loops and a small interior pocket.
-They are marked an Adult/Ladies size large. Nice and generous, stretchy and can fit a wide variety of sizes
These tights retail for $49.95. I am asking $35.

Ariat Pro Series show shirt, size 36, baby blue- $25
-Lightly worn Ariat Pro Series show shirt
-Cotton with stretch in a comfortable, wrinkle resistant textured weave
-Light blue in color
-Size 36
-In excellent condition, no rips, tears, or stains
-Comes with one unmonogrammed collar. I washed the collar once more than the shirt and it’s slightly lighter. I am super anal. SUPER ANAL (ask around) and I can’t even look at the shirt now, let alone wear it. This wouldn’t bother a normal person, but I mention it out of completeness.

TRAINING EQUIPMENT AND TACK

New with tags! Raised, fancy stitched, padded Northrun bridle, extra-full, Havana brown- $145
-New, unoiled and unconditioned, still has tack shop hangtag
-Fine quality bridle handcrafted in England
-Fancy stitched, square raised
-Comes with laced 5/8" reins
-Square raised browband and French-style caveson are 1/2" x 5/8"
-Very generous extra-full size equivalent to many braidle brands’ oversized. Excellent for warmbloods
-Measurements are approximately as follows: browband 17 inches, noseband 31 inches, cheekpieces 13.5 inches, and crown 29.5 inches.
-Suitable for any show ring, or great for schooling. For the asking price, you will not be disappointed. Leather quality and styling comparable to bridles in the $300 price range like KL Select, Aramas, Collegiate, Crosby, Pessoa, etc. Is it a Jimmy’s? No, it’s not. But for $350 it’s a beautiful bridle and for $145, it’s a ridiculous bridle.
-Retails for $350, asking $145

New! Prestige rubber-lined open front jumping boots, tobacco brown, horse sized (medium), stud closure- $80
-New with tags
-Leather open front jumping boots with soft, padded rubber lining
-Three strap stud and leather-ended elastic billet closure
-Tobacco brown (Edgewood color, could probably be oiled darker)
-Medium (horse sized)
-Retail for $130, asking $80

Leather and elastic side reins, horse sized, brown with taupe elastic- $15
-A versatile, basic lunging tool
-Buckle adjusts to fit a wide range of sizes
-Havana brown.
-No name brand marked on these
-Used but in good working condition. Elastic isn’t stretched or discolored. Leather could use a conditioning but isn’t cracked or rotted. I don’t think these saw a lot of used, I think they just sat around for a while
-They look a lot like the Perri’s side reins that retail for $45. Asking $15.

SADDLE PADS

Set of three schooling pads, all horse-sized, one contour and the remainder all purpose- $10
-One purple Dover all purpose pad with gold/silver embroidery
-One multicolored horse print all purpose pad
-One white fitted fleece pad

-All in good condition for schooling. Worn/faded but no major rips/tears/damage. Well used
-Asking $10 for the lot

Set of 4 square baby pads and one fitted baby pad (lot #2)- $10
-As shown, 2 pink (I dyed, they started off white), one home-made water-lilly pattern, one homemade blue gingham—AND a bitted baby pad with billet/girth straps.
-Well used, suitable only for schooling. No rips/tear/damage but quite worn (hence the cheap price) so have some stains
-Asking $10 for the lot

I am interested in a quite a few of your items. I like the Rambo Duo blanket set, Raised, fancy stitched, padded Northrun bridle and the Prestige rubber-lined open front jumping boots. Are you willing to trade any of these items? Are you looking for anything I have a ton of items. Let me know! Shannon

#9 ·
Hi Shannon, I love the idea of trading/doing a partial trade if you have something I need. Here are the things I am actively looking for right now (but I am open to other ideas too): Ariat ladies
field boots size 9 (full or regular calf, medium height, zipper back); Tipperary vest adult small; Rambo/Rhino/Amigo turnouts in good condition in 72/78/81/84/87; open front jumping boots (fronts and/or ankles); Lettia coolmax fleece/elastic girth in 52 inches; Ariat ladies western long sleeve shirt size small; hunter show stuff. Do you have a list of your sale items? THX

I will make up a list soon. I have a mattes half pad which is worth 250 dollars that I'd be willing to trade. It is very soft and has only been used a few times. It is allo black. I have quite a few pairs of field boots, but they do not have a zipper a lot of good brands too (ariat) I have a light blue show shirt for hunters, ariat brand and a pink one, beacon hill brand. the pink one I bought on sale awhile ago and never used it because it was too small but it was over $100 and the blue one is used but still in great condition. I have show saddle pads, a fleeceworks one that can be used in show that I bought for $175...I have quite a lot of stuff, especially show items. I have a show coat...I can't think of it all right now but if you are interested in any of these things I can get some pics for you!

Hi! I'm quite interested in the field boots and noticed on one of your posts that you'd trade for certain items.
I have a pair of size 9 Ariat Heritage II field boots - full calf, med. height - that I'm trying to sell. They are used, but only barely - enough to break them in, reluctantly show in them a couple of times (they don't fit me) and then retire back to the closet.
I also have a brand new w/tags Amigo flash bridle, black, cob sized that I'm trying to sell/trade. I'm going to do some measuring of my legs, in the meantime! Lol!
OH btw; the measurements of the calf - are those measurments for the inside of the calf or the outside of the boot, around the calf? Thank you!!!
-Tilly

GP Hunt coat is sold!

dantexeventer! I would LOVE to do a trade because those Ariats are EXACTLY the size I need (Ariat ladies 9, full calf, medium height). I saw you were asking $175 for your boots and I was asking $200 but I would be happy to do an even trade if it ends up with both of us having boots that fit!!

All the measurements I took were on the OUTSIDE of the boots. The calf measurement is around the outside of the calf at the widest part.

It's much easier for me to do email than PM/posting here. Please email me vxf111 @ yahoo.comn or else leave your email so I can email you. Thanks!
