Yes, not real fond of lighter colors either. I have a brand new unused TexTan show saddle and haven't even put it on a horse, can't stand the idea of it getting dirty and then having to clean it. Spent too much for it to sit around, but I am not giving it away either. As I said the economy is still in the toilet here. The good thing is it is paid for and it doesn't eat.

Not only are people into the medium oil, now some of the showers have moved to the ultra light that I consider way to light and a definite pain to keep clean. Won't even get near that color, but am starting to see more and more. I guess it impresses some of the judges if you keep it new looking. Not my cup of tea.

A woman can NEVER have too many horses.....

Exactly. Super light tack sometimes reminds me of the cheap Pleather stuff I see sold around auctions all the time with tin silver on them :P
