Were not rude. Were cautious. Your OP wasn't exactly clear. You want us to donate tack to a rescue. Most of us would be willing to send a few things. But unless we see proof that it is an actual functioning rescue, I doubt someone is going to send even an old halter.

In the future, when asking for people to donate anything, its best not to call potential donors rude.

Is this the rescue you are asking for donations for? MadaresGold Horse Rescue

If so, are they a 501(c) rescue?

That does not necessarily mean they are a real nonprofit, with the government and all.

It does not say they are a 501(c)(3) on their website. Can you check with the owner of the non-profit and find out.

With out that status people can not use their donations as a tax deduction.

PS - calling people asking basic questions (like a link that works) rude is not the way to get the help you are looking for.

If he was in Mi, Id be adopting the arab gelding. He is beautiful.
Ill take a look around for things I can donate. I don't have much, but even if its a halter, these poeple, non profit or not, are trying to help horses, Not tax statements.
