Have you tried craigslist? I got a few responses from there and sold it today from my ad there. Also, good pictures are important, and it will sell easier if you include the fittings. There's another wintec pro in my area selling for $500, but it doesn't include the fittings or any extra gullets and it's been up for a few months now. The third Wintec Pro out here that I saw on craigslist included all fittings and some extra gullets and seems to have sold already - they were advertising it for $525. Mine sold in about a month. Put me in the synthetic saddle camp. I have no time to waste caring for leather.

Absolutely. Apparently the wintec girths are incredibly tough. It jumped out of the buyer's truck as she was loading the saddle in and I when I found it, it had been run over by an SUV and was sitting in some mud and oil next to the curb. I brought it back inside and ran it under the faucet - looks good as new. If it had been leather, it would have been a pain to clean and I'm so sure it would be stained, if not also torn.

I've got one listed for $350 in Connecticut. Guess I'm under priced.

Mayflyaway...I have all fittings included (27" Professionals Choice girth, Wintec "leathers", irons, Wintec breastcollar) and the entire Easy Change gullet system with measuring gauge. I am asking $700 for all of it because brand new all of that stuff would be well over $1000. Eventually I will find the right person. I have tried Craigslist multiple times...just got a bunch of tire kickers and people that said they would meet me with the money for the saddle then they disappeared and I never heard from them again. I'm done with Craigslist. Glad you sold your though!

I got mine brand new for $745, came with the complete gullet kit(the measuring gauge and all the plates), "leathers", irons, girth and a saddle cover. I'm not saything the OP saddle was over priced, she probably paid more then I did and just wants to recoup most of the money she spent on it since she hardly used it. I love my wintec pro dressage and think it's a great saddle.

That was a REALLY good deal then, because the saddle alone brand new is selling for a little over $800. I love my Wintec Pro also, but I don't ride English anymore and I only used the saddle a handful of times, so I'm not taking an entire loss on it.

Actually, I sold the package for what I paid, because I bought it used and didn't end up using it much since it didn't fit my horse. The higher-end wintec saddles have a good market in the NW OR/SW WA region. Lots of demand, so they really hold their value here. I can see that in certain areas where there is not a huge dressage community and plenty of synthetic fans, it would be more difficult to sell an english synthetic saddle.

I think it really depends on where you are located. MyBoyPuck, if you really want your saddle to sell, maybe advertise it on the Portland area craigslist? Because a wintec pro at that price here is a *really* good deal, so I suspect someone out there would be willing to pay shipping if the cost of the saddle was so low. You'd have to make sure you have good pics and whatnot, but it might be worth a try.

Also, I've observed that the non-sueded synthetics retail and re-sell for less than the sueded synthetics.
