Lots of new horshair jewelry designs!

The creative juices have finally started flowing again, and I've learned several new braid styles, which has translated into lots of new jewelry pieces!
I call this one my DNA braid--it's a 16-strand spiral braid--this key chain is $18ppd.

8-strand flat braid bracelet--this one isn't for sale, but I can certainly make more that are similar.

8-strand spiral necklace--$43ppd

8-strand square braid earrings--$23ppd There is a matching Halloween-y type bracelet in the works!

16-strand round braid key chain--$18ppd

8-strand flat braid pendant--$13ppd

8-strand spiral zipper pull--$8ppd

As always, if you have your own horse(s), I'm happy to take custom orders. Just send me the hair and let me make a gorgeous custom piece! Also, I'm still making all of my other desings and styles! My Photobucket album shows examples of all of my work. :)

Are the prices the same on custom orders with your own horses hair?

How much is the bracelet?

I'm probably ridiculously stupid, but how much hair constitutes a "strand", generally? I was thinking about doing something like this for my mom, but I have no idea how much hair I need to steal from my boy XD

I usually like to get a section of hair that's at least 16" long and about as big around as your thumb. The thickness of the actual strands varies with each bracelet--it can be as thick or as thin as you want! :)

How well does the bracelets hold up to everyday wear and tear?
