Need to rehome my horses to a new facility and it's so much easier only rehoming one, especially since financially I'm finding myself in a bad spot.
Digger is a 5 yo JC registered gelding, bay with a hind pastern and a small star. He's about 15.3 hh. I've round penned him and done some under saddle training... Needs more time put into him. Very sweet horse, excellent ground manners, tries very hard under saddle. Moves away from the leg very well and will even attempt turning on his hindquarters. I have ridden him out and he needs more exposure, not too sure about everything, but he's not bad. Will make a great 4-H or pony club horse... he just has that personality.
He is the under dog in turn out and can't be with extremely mean horses, because he will get bullied. He has clean legs and is sound, goes best with shoes on. Needs some more weight on him. He also needs work on trailering, he gets very nervous on the trailer and I haven't had time to work with him to help him relax.
You can't ask for an easier horse to clip and bathe!
He does have a Coggins, is utd on shots, and worming.
It breaks my heart but my better half says that one of them has to go, and I've had Justin for almost 9 years and Digger for only a few months. :(
I would like $1500 for him but will consider all reasonable offers.
Located in south Jersey.... I'd love for him to go to a nice family.
