The Big Horn is likely of a better quality than many of the newer saddles we are seeing today.

Do you think this would fit a 16.1 large-shouldered TB? Sorry I know almost nothing about western saddles. : )

It depends on said TB's shoulder angle. If he/she has a steep angle but large shoulders, I'd think it would fit, if he/she is more broad/flatter large shoulders, I'm not sure. :(

Also, just information about this saddle, the horse that this fit through the shoulder area fits into a wide gulleted english/Aussie saddle. Maybe that'll help someone. :)

Me again. I'm still interested. Do you think you could measure the saddle from front to back? I'd like an idea of how long it is. Also, is it a true 15'? What kind of condition is the fleese in? Is the saddle in general good using condition?

Oh my gosh my friend had this saddle when I was a kid and I was so jealous! Love your saddle but after having to pay a $1300 truck repair bill yesterday, I am not going to be buying anything for a long time :(

A western saddle sits behind the shoulder blades, so that is the area of concern. A saddle with this style of forks will not fit a horse with high withers.

Hello,
I remember admiring pics of your saddle when you first got it. I have a saddle I would like to trade for it. It is a western style and fit, but hornless and 3/4 rigged. It is maker marked on the latigo keeper The Rider and has numbers on it. I just put pics onto photobucket of it and will try to put the pics here.

The left front of the pommel looks pinched at the corner like maybe a horse bit it. I tried to show it in the last pic. I did have the pics rotated on my computer but they went sideways when I put them on photobucket, sorry. Not so good with computers here.

Thanks
Ann

If you would be willing to take $200 and call it even, then I'll take a chance on it fitting my horse and I'll buy it.

Hi Emily,
Yes if you could get those measurments for me, I'd appreciate it. I"m hoping the saddle is at least 15'. Let me know.
