Shipping Estimates... can someone help?

Hi everyone!
Could someone please tell me the easiest way to determine shipping from home when you post something for sale? I'd like to post a few things, but I don't know how to go about figuring out shipping in the easiest manner.
Thank you to anyone that can give me some advice!

Contact either ups or your postal agency, they usually have a start fee for heavy items, if its not a heavy item it then depends on how far it's being shipped and how quick you want it to get there and a few other things.
Other wise you just have to wait until the person tells you where they live and contact the postal agency with the to and from zip codes.

Hope this helps.

Easiest way is Post office priority boxes. The boxes are free and have set rates to anywhere in the country. You can look them up online as well.

You can go to USPS (postal service) or UPS (or your choice of a currier) and you can get an estimated cost of what it will be to ship. You also get a chance to put in the dimensions of the box and weight (to give you a more accurate cost)
