Suggestion for sellers

If you are selling something or offer something to a person looking to buy, GET THEM PICTURES. I am a buyer (feedback on eBay attests to that!) I joined this forum to look for buys in the classifieds. I join in in other areas but the first place I head is to the classifeds.

I have had members tell me, they would get me pictures today or tonight and never hear from them again and I end up buying else where.

If you are serious about selling consider your buyers are serious about buying and stay in contact with them. If other buyers are like me, it doesn't take long to move on and purchase somewhere else.

People who seriously want to sell aren't forgetting. They are checking and doing. I have been talking to several about spurs and straps and have not had a problem. I have dealt with others that I felt like I was harassing and never did get a picture.

I second this! I hate waiting forever for someone to get back to me about pictures and looking at their status to see they're in the Games section, and 5 minutes later they log off and don't bother to check their messages to see that I've messaged them about wanting pictures.

I second the pics idea. It's better to wait and post the ad WITH the pics - that'll attract more buyers. I usually don't even look up the ads without pics. Even if I look for something.

I don't usually ask for pics. If they aren't posted or a link provided to another site (ie photobucket etc) I just don't bother.

I agree with the passing up ads with no photos! You cannot sell a horse or handmade product or a used item without pics so why not just include them in the ad? Then you aren't sending multiple people pics of the same thing and you get more potential interest.
