You know what I purchased for a tack trunk was a large stanley tool trunk at the Home Depot for $60.00! It has wheels and a pull out handle! It is fabulous and durable!

Its funny, at my barn that is all you see when you go into our tack room! It looks like a bunch of construction workers are there!!

There are a few sellers on ebay that make pre-designed or custom tack boxes for about half the cost of the exact same ones you will find at local tack stores. I personally use the big ones from home hardware BUT have a custom one coming with the custom barn logo on it. Jackets hopefully also coming in soon.

this is what i have. on the right it has a pull out handle so you can wheel it around. it works great as a tack box.

ETA- also theres this little yellow pan with a handle that comes with the box and it works great to hold your brushes and things like that.

this is what it looks like-

While I cant find that particular model in the area, I did find this one. If it has a locking top, it would do hu?

Im also wondering if a cooler with wheels would do the same thing?
Thing about them is, they have cup holders on top...lol
