Ultra-Flex Foal Saver blanket in blue XL

Very gently used (worn twice!) Ultra-Flex foal saver blanket, this helps to prevent hypothermia in a foal's critical first days. Perfect for colder climates or early foals. I bought it when I was worried Freyja would foal prematurely in the end of January. As Fiona was ultiomately born in April, there was little need for the blanket beyond her first few hours. There are no rips, tears, or other structural damage to the blanket. There is some betadine staining on the bellyband. Blanket will be freshly laundered before shipping out.

This is a high tech baby bunting made with Teckno-Dri lining to help finish drying the newborn's coat at birth. This technical material including high loft fiberfill provides insulation for warmth and secondary moisture transport. The durable high count cotton outercover will withstand repeated washing. Made with expandable Velcro front and bellyband for perfect adjustment. The lycra infused stretch shoulder insures a snug but comfortable chest and neckline to secure the body heat. Baby blue color.

The size is EXTRA LARGE (recommended for larger Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods, and Draft Foals)

BACK: 27" SIZE: expands 39" - 43"

Fiona was a very large, 3/4 Shire draft newborn, and this blanket was almost too roomy for her.

Asking $35.00 plus shipping.
