I'll have to get photos for you tomorrow as it's just too dark for them to come out well tonight. However, it appears to be a normal width (semi QH/QH Bars - if you can tell me how to measure the gullet for you, I'd be happy to. My familiarity is with English saddles) and has a 15 inch seat. The cantle height is 3 inches. It's a medium to dark oil tan, with a slightly darker seat that's a little padded, and has white stitching around the fenders and skirt. The tree has a fiberglass covering but a piece has broken off. The wood undernearth appears sound otherwise. I will definitely photograph the tree so you can see the extent of the break. It has pretty floral stamping nearly everywhere. It was a nice saddle when it was in better shape. With a little repair work it likely will be again :)

I couldn't quite figure out how to explain it, so I found you a link!

I know a fellow who builds (and repairs) saddles, so if the break is something dire I'll have him take a look-see. I'd also like to know the shipping rate (to 61832). I've got a 5-year-old that needs to be re-started and just need the saddle to do the work (the land owner said he'd loan me his, but recently pawned it). I originally had my eye open for a synthetic saddle but haven't had any luck on those. X)

Any photos of the western headstall/breast plate set?

The gullet is 6.5"
No problem, I'm patient!
It wouldn't quite fit me or my horse! Thanks anyways.

Creampuff, I got the photos for you. The saddle is actually in better shape than I originally thought. Aside from some wear marks/discoloration where the rider sits, the bit of fiberglass missing, and the broken stirrup (the leather on the stirrup broke but the leathers on the saddle look just fine) I think it's in decent shape for everyday use. I do have the stirrup for you, so you wouldn't get a saddle with only one stirrup :)

According to UPS, it would be $35 for shipping too 61832, not including packaging (But I think I have a box here it will fit into). That's with Ground, they estimate 4-5 days for it to arrive. USPS and FEDEX were both astronomically higher. My zip code is 97140 if you want to do a little looking yourself :)

Picture time!

Hello Wildmustango!

The breastcollar is lovely and like new, I am almost ashamed about the bridle, it got rougher treatment than I thought (same person who borrowed and abused the above saddle), so I am willing to come down to $45 for the set, which is about half of what it was new. The breastcollar is still in it's original wrappings and never used. The bridle would be fine for every day use/trail/schooling. The leather needs conditioning to regain its suppleness.

Hey aspin! No worries, if the saddle won't fit than that's that! I certainly wouldn't want you to get something and have it be uncomfortable for you or your horse. Best of luck finding the right one :)

If creampuff isn't interested in the western saddle, could you check for shipping to 15601? I would be interested, but can't pay a fortune for shipping.

Hello corinowalk!

I checked the shipping just in case, and it would be $40 from UPS from my zip code (97140) to 15601. Feel free to use my zip code and poke around to see if you can find a cheaper option somewhere :)
