I must admit, I had never planned on trying to sell my saddle online, I was just going to try locally. I have no idea how to go about shipping and such, so that may be an adventure if this works out? :) hehe
Where are you located?
Model: WEMBLEY II Olympic Works, Spring Seat Edition
(Made in England)
Flaps: 16.5” long
This saddle is dressage saddle with hidden pencil knee rolls. The age it is unknown, but it's great condition. It has been stored in a dry environment with a cover to protect it from dust, and I clean and oil it regularly. The stitching is still tight and has no damage, there are no big scratches in the leather, but it has a very small funny "fold" on the bottom of the right flap. The billets are secure and seem to be in good sturdy using condition, they are NOT dry, brittle or cracked.
The tree seems sound, I put the pommel on my knee and pulled the cantle towards me, it flexed a little(as it should) but didn't bunch anywhere. And the flocking seems OK, but not great. It still has a "bounciness" to it and doesn't have any lumps. When I push on it with a finger I can NOT feel the tree underneath, but I say that it's only OK, because to my knowledge it has never been redone.
60” dark brown Leathers and 4 ¾” Irons.
I bought this for my QH when she was two(4yrs ago) for $450. I decided at the age of 3.5 that I needed to stop using it because her shoulders were getting too wide for it and it hasn't been used in 2.5yrs. I want a new english saddle and being a college student I don't have extra money, I hope that by selling this one that I can afford one. I want to sell this saddle for $400, firm. I really love this saddle, but if I can't sell it for that amount, then I will keep it.
If there is anything I forgot, or something you need to know, just holler!
^^the rust on the stirrup bar is very superficial
