Wanted: Hanging Cheek/Baucher snaffle

Lacey has been going really well in her Pelham and since I've been pretty much exclusively riding on the snaffle rein, I'd like to get her a real baucher to try since that's pretty much what a pelham, minus the curb part, is.

In a perfect world, I'd like a baucher with a slight port, like those "ported barrel" ones from Myler.

However, since beggars can't be choosey, I'm willing to entertain the idea of (in this order) a french link (really any double joint), a mullen mouth, or a single jointed one.
A single joint is really not preferred unless it's that kind where there's a barrel thing around the joint so it can't move much.

Thanks! :)

Fabio - 13 year old Arabian/Lipizzan gelding

Rest peacefully, Lacey.

Did you ever manage to find a Baucher? I have one I might be able to part with, it's a Neue Schule Salox Baucher bit, 5". My horse isn't really a huge fan of it, so I'm just riding in a regular french link anyways...

Baucher snaffle

You have a couple choices. You can make your own (Baucher Snaffle Axwood Farm Library) or you can buy one. There are a variety out there, but the one I like the best (extra arch, tipped out headstall rings) is available in England. Horse Bit Bank, Neue Schule bits - HorseBitBank.com
