Wanted, pony sized bit, saddle etc.

Hi everyone!

Well since none of my pork chop horses' tack fits Monty, I need to get him some stuff of his own. Looking for:

a 4.5" leverage bit - prefer short shanked, either mullen mouth or very low port curb. I have a pony tom thumb I'm using now but prefer to avoid jointed leverage bits.

smaller saddle - pony sized probably needed due to his back length. Fairly narrow tree. Something lightweight, synthetics would be fine. Don't want to spend much because he will likely need a wider tree as he gains weight and muscle - it can be pretty trashed, as long as it's still functional, just need something for training purposes right now.

Also any 4.5" O or D snaffles or french links for Misty!

Pm me if you have anything! Thanks!

I have a 4.5" O-ring snaffle that's never been used.

Here's a picture (top right): http://i45.tinypic.com/34fxth3.jpg

What kind of saddle are you looking for? I have a 15" synthetic endurance saddle that fits my 14hh Paso Fino. It only weighs 17lbs.

Here's my thread: http://www.horseforum.com/tack-equip...50-plus-56157/

And I also have a 61" blanket if you need one : ]

He CM I'll probably take the bit, maybe the blanket too, how heavy is it? I have a light rug I used on Finn last year, but will be too small for him this year and too big for Misty, but probably will fit Monty well. It's a lighter weight one though.

As far as the saddle, I like it, but I would think FQH bars would be to wide for him , he's got high, narrow withers and he's overall a pretty narrow guy.

The saddle doesn't have FQH bars, it has semi-QH bars : ]

The blanket isn't that heavy and is quilted. It's more of a stable blanket, but I used it as a winter blanket for turnout. It's soft and is not waterproof (but we don't get rain in the winter, so that didn't matter to me).

The blanket itself is in great condition, but it has two things wrong with it - It's missing leg straps (which are easily replaceable), and one of the chest buckles is broken. I tied the buckle in a knot and it works fine, you just might want to slip it over his head so you don't have to keep retying it. And there's a second chest strap so the blanket won't come off if the knot doesn't hold.

I'm asking $5 for the bit and $20 for the blanket.

I have a 45" Fleece Lined English Girth. $10 plus what shipping would be.

You didn't mention that you needed one, but I thought I would offer. =)

My friend has an old parade saddle that could probably work for you. Its about a 14" seat and has a 5.5 gullet. I believe thats pony bars. Its actually a pretty nice little saddle. I think she is askin 150 and that would include shipping.
