Western Saddle - Anyone Interested?

I haven't decided if I am going to sell this saddle or not but I wanted to see if anyone is interested. I think it is to narrow for Indy and is making him uncomfortable. Here is some information:

Original Price: $700 (I paid $700 for it, the guy I bought it from paid close to $1000 for it but sold his horse soon after and had only used it about three or four times).

I am asking between $400 and $500 ($500 would include shipping, anything lower - shipping would have to be determined) but won't turn down any reasonable offers.

I have used it about 30 or 35 times, no more then 40 I would say. I LOVE the saddle. It is very comfortable, it looks nice, it is not made of cheap leather. I have used it on other horses and I could sit in it all day. It has a few signs of use (shown in pictures below) but other than that it looks brand new.

The saddle has a Stallion Tack International brand on it, but this one was hand made/hand carved/custom designed. A lot of people have said that Stallion Tack Intl. Is a bad company with cheap saddles but this is the second saddle I have had from them. The first one lasted about 15 years (it was owned by my boss before me) and I have had no problems with this one.

I feel really dumb for not knowing this but I believe that it has semi QH bars. That was why I bought it for Indy a couple of months ago but now that I have used it and he has grown (another three inches... and many inches wider!) it just does not fit. I can't find the original bill of sale, is there any way for me to tell what type of bars it has? I feel like the angle is very narrow which would lead me to think that it is regular but... Oh boy. Sorry about that!

I have a blue barrel saddle that may fit indi if you are looking to buy another one. If you want we could do a strait across trade? My saddle is gorgeous

Erin_and-Jasper: The seat size is a 16 . I actually took a picture of where it says that the saddle is a size 16 but then I forgot to post it... My fault, sorry bout that!

Sunny: I must just behaving an off night because when I read your post I had NO idea what you were talking about. I always thought it was some kind of plant but now that I am looking closer I can see where it might be a dragon. I can't believe I didn't notice that before! I will look even closer tomorrow and get back to you on that one.

Morganshow: I'm sorry, I'm not really looking for a barrel saddle. It is indeed a pretty saddle though, I wish you luck if you are trying to sell it. Have you tried creating a post, or maybe using Ebay??

Wow - I have an IDENTICAL saddle - tooling and everything - from Stallion Tack Intl. - except mine is FQHB. I think I paid around $450 or so for it from eBay brand new.

To be honest I bought it just to have something for friends to ride in - just an extra saddle around the barn. But I was very pleased with it. The only thing I don't love are the Blevins buckles - they cut my fingers the first time I tried to change the stirrups. But I had those replaced for about 30 bucks, and I have no complaints thus far. :]

Good luck trying to sell it. It really is a good quality saddle.

That is a really nice looking saddle. Unfortunately, if it is to narrow for Indi, it would DEFINITELY not fit any of mine. LOL. Good luck finding a buyer.
