WTB: Cheapy plain irons

I'm looking for a pair of cheap irons, I found a pair on horseloverz for 10.95, but they wanted 9.35 S&H! I would prefer 4.75" but 5" would work ok also.

The cheaper the better, just needed for schooling. Thanks!

English Stirrup Irons do weigh around 3 pounds so that adds to the shipping cost for sure!

I only have new 5" Korsteel stainless fillis irons which are a little more than you probably want to spend ($25 - would include shipping for you) but if you don't find any elsewhere - something to consider.

Thanks, horseloverz is a rip off when it comes to shipping tho, I bought a pair of tall boots and they charged $23 to ship them when it only actually cost them 9(I ask the guy at the post office).
I replied to the thread in the PM you sent me, hopefully she still has them . I don't really need irons but I have a pair of offset eye irons and despite their claim of helping knee pain, they make it worse lol and my old irons are on my other saddle.

Are there any horse/horse tack auctions near you? Usually they start with used tack, then new tack, then the animals. You have to look through what's available but you could get irons, maybe attached to rotten leathers, for a $song. Just FYI. I gather this is just for pleasure riding, not showing.

unfortunately, I'd have to travel down to New Holland for any kind of auction and that is 2 hours away.
