It was saving into my C drive; program files, and worked theire originally until recently. I have tried moving it to My Music and opening it from there, no go. Also tried deleting and reinstalling, also no go.
Morning, If I say you have screwed up your machine, it wouldn't be something new however if I say you can fix this issue, that would be something new .
Here is the solution to your problem.
1: Click Start
2: Click Run
3: Type "regedit" (without quotes)
4: Dig it down to
HKEY_Current_User -> Software -> Microsoft -> Windows -> Current Version -> Explorer -> Shell folders
When you click on Shell folders, on the right hand side it will list all the folder paths, you have to look for "My Music" folder.
Double click that folder and type in your path where your music files are, for example, C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\My Documents\My Music
Once done, Click OK then dig another one down
5: HKEY_Current_User -> Software -> Microsoft -> Windows -> Current Version -> Explorer -> User Shell folders
When you click on User Shell folders, on the right hand side it will list all the folder paths, you have to look for "My Music" folder.
Double click that folder and type in your path where your music files are, for example, C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\My Documents\My Music
Once done, Click OK.
Click File --->Exit.
You are done.
