I have to agree with jinx as far as tha blackberry goes! Not only does it have all of the features he mentioned but it also has the pin# which allows free messeges if you don't have unlimited texting and lets not forget about the blackberry messenger!
Thanks everyone! I was kind of leaning toward a blackberry curve 8900 but with no personal experience with one I wasn't for sure.
I've always had either motorolas or nokias both of which are good phones my biggest problem now is although there is nothing wrong with my razr I can't see the display.
It's been a sturdy phone even though it's a 1st generation and the reviews weren't that great for it I've not had any problems with it, my vision is just getting worse..old age lol
The only thing I don't like is no memory slot and can only have a limited # of ringtones
I have a Sanyo pro700 its a military issue bare bones no camera phone. Its rough and tough and takes a beating. It has the best antenna for better reception and that is what I was looking for. It has GPS plus an excellent speaker and microphone. It has one of the best battery life as welll It does get the Internet but I don't use it or text messaging. I wanted a phone to get and make calls.
We are in the boonies so reception was my main goal. It hasn't let me down yet.
To bubblegum- I rarely hear them called "mobiles" anymore. Most people call them either "blackberry" if that's what it is or just "cell"
The phrase posted by the poster that said "the fancier the phone, the crapier it will be" is totally not true. I have the LG Dare from Verizon. It's a full touch screen with QUERTY keyboard and the upright format. As well as Bluetooth and an actual built in 3.2 megapixel camera with a flash feature. The internet is great on it and I would recommend it to anyone.
I had the LG Chocolate (the second version) and it was great, except for the fact that the lights on the outside went out within the first year :/
BUT I totally recommend anything from Verizon. It truly does have service everywhere. I have yet (in my 4 years of having the service) to get the "no signal" sign
i have a blackberry curve from verizon....my only addiction other than my horses! I've had it since valentines day and I have yet to find anything I don't like about it!
Really? I don't have very good experiences with blackberries....I've only ever used Verizon and at&t blackberries tho
